Rare 1950s Collector Masterpiece! This is an authentic 1954 Southwestern sterling silver and turquoise Thunderbird pin. The design features a stylized Thunderbird silhouette—a traditional symbol representing power and protection—rendered with mid-century modern aesthetic influences. The reverse side carries a clear artisan hallmark stamped Sterling Jane 1954 alongside a downward arrow, which is a traditional symbol for peace. Jewelry pieces containing explicit calendar dates from this mid-1950s period of independent Southwestern silversmithing are less common and highly documented by collectors. ●Metal: Solid 925 Sterling Silver ●Stone: Natural bright blue oval Turquoise cabochon with matrix, secured in a shadowbox bezel setting. ●Artisan Hallmark: Sterling Jane 1954 with a downward arrow. ●Closure Type: Rollover C-Clasp (safety catch). Approximate Measurements & Weight: ●Length: 1 1/4 inches ●Width: 3/4 inch (at widest point) ●Weight: 5.5 grams ●Condition: Vintage condition with natural age patina. The silver has been left unpolished to preserve original character. Stone is sound and secure. #VintageSterling #TurquoiseThunderbird #1954Vintage #SouthwesternSilver #SignedJane #MidCenturyJewelry #NativeAmericanStyle #CollectibleSilver #VintageBrooch #FredHarveyEraStyle
