Thank you for viewing our attractant 2! This set includes approximately 500ml of Japanese honeybee attractant liquid, a bonus of approximately 50g of beeswax, approximately 100g of honeycomb debris, and instructions. ☆ Last year, we set up 30 waiting beehives. We had 21 natural entries and 5 forced captures, for a total of 26 successful captures. By applying beeswax to the entrance and inside the ceiling of a beehive for capturing Japanese honeybees, and then spraying or brushing on the attractant liquid, you can increase the probability of capturing swarming or wild colonies of Japanese honeybees. If there is a Japanese honeybee nest near the beehive you are using for capture, spraying the attractant liquid will attract scout bees with its scent. Tips for capturing Japanese honeybees: ☆ 1. Proper placement of the beehive. If you are not getting entries, try moving the hive. Sometimes changing the location immediately leads to capture. Site selection is crucial. ☆ 2. Creating a beehive that scout bees will like. New beehives are difficult for bees to enter, even with Golden Pears (Kinryohen) or artificial attractants. Therefore, apply beeswax to the entrance and the inside ceiling of the beehive, and then brush on our secret attractant liquid inside the hive. Japanese honeybees prefer used accommodations. Applying beeswax and attractant liquid makes the beehive attractive to scout bees. Furthermore, using it in conjunction with Golden Pears (Kinryohen) can further increase your capture success rate. When using the attractant liquid as a spray, it has been filtered, but the spray nozzle may become clogged. Please clean the nozzle or dilute the liquid with water and apply with a cloth or brush. Also, during the capture season, dilute the attractant liquid with water about 3 times and spray it around the beehive. Scout bees will be drawn by the scent. Please be aware that if you apply the attractant liquid too thickly and it does not dry sufficiently, it may lead to mold growth or attract ants. If you will not be using the product immediately upon arrival, please store it in the freezer. Storing it at room temperature can cause mold or fermentation. When using, thaw the liquid, take out the amount you need, and store the rest in the freezer. This will allow you to use it until around autumn. ★ Instructions on how to apply the attractant liquid and beeswax, and examples of successful beehive placement locations are included. #JapaneseHoneybee #NihonMitsuBachi #WaitingHive #AttractantLiquid #YuuinEki #Attractant #Beeswax #Mitsurou #GoldenPear #Kinryohen Click here for the manufacturer's site
