Vintage Asahi Pentax K1000 35mm SLR film camera with SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 manual focus lens. The Pentax K1000 is one of the most popular classic 35mm student and beginner film cameras because of its simple manual controls, durable build, built-in light meter, and compatibility with Pentax K-mount lenses. The K1000 uses a mechanical shutter with battery power needed for the meter only, making it a highly desirable camera for film photography, photography students, collectors, and anyone wanting a dependable manual 35mm SLR setup. This camera has been tested for the listed basic functions, including shutter, light meter, and flash function. It comes with the desirable SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.7 lens, a sharp standard prime lens commonly used for portraits, everyday shooting, street photography, and learning manual film photography. The camera presents well overall with normal cosmetic wear from vintage use, including minor scuffs and scratches visible on the body and bottom plate. Please review all photos carefully, as the exact camera and lens shown are the items that will be received.
