This is an original buffer compatible with piezo pickups. We paid close attention to the parts used, such as employing Sonic genuine HW-01 for wiring and Oyaide Electric SS-47 solder. With a high input impedance of 10MΩ, it faithfully receives the delicate signal from piezo (passive) pickups and converts it into a strong signal (low impedance). As a result, it can be used with amplifiers and effects pedals not compatible with piezo pickups without signal loss. *With typical amplifier/effects pedal input impedance (approx. 500kΩ - 1MΩ), connecting a piezo pickup directly can easily result in a loss of low frequencies. This unit can be used not only for various acoustic instruments, including the double bass, but also as a buffer for electric guitars and basses. ■ BUFFER ROBO [Specifications] - Input Impedance: 10MΩ - Output Impedance: Approx. 800Ω - SUBSONIC FILTER: ON / OFF - LOW CUT: 40Hz / 80Hz / OFF - Power: 9V battery (approx. 360 hours) or 9V AC adapter (center negative) - Dimensions: 8 x 8 x 4 cm (excluding protrusions) - Weight: 168g *The eye parts can be attached in your preferred position. *The photos are for illustrative purposes.
